Although the resistance is the same regardless of the relative position of
the part, three other issues come to mind:

1.  you can't read the resistance value and verify if it's the correct part
in that location
2.  any chipouts over the resistive element will not be visible
3.  the washout channel underneath the part is likely to be significantly
restricted

We rework all inverted resistors.
