Dave,
I would like to have the iron soldering test as part of ANSI- J-002.  We do
use the test for some of the components.  Mostly, for R&O product, such as
leadless ICs and Hybrids.  The method only used for unique parts (e.g.some
of long term storage parts).  It is used only on "AR" (as required) bases.
