hi,

i want to thank everybody that responded to my recent request for
information regarding the use of 'kapton' (polyimide) flex circuits on navy
aircraft. it turns out that there is no reason why 'kapton' flex circuits
cannot be used.

it seems that , in our case, 'kapton' flex circuits were swept into the
category of 'kapton' insulated wires which are not allowed in navy aircraft
for use in wire harnesses that interconnect the black boxes in these planes.

i have accumulated a list of resources that i don't want to post here on
this list, but if anyone needs them, i'll be glad to get them to you.

thanks again,

phil crepeau
