Hi, Dave!
We still use method 208 for mechanical parts or special components whose
soldering area is soldered to wires by a soldering iron. We always try
first the dipping method if possible. But, I must say, that we changed
the recommended flux , we use our production no clean flux or our
production no clean soldering wire . In short, if the solder connection
looks bad, it is an indication that the part's finish is not suitable
for our specific process.
How many times?- It really depends on how often we get such parts.
