Yvon-
Adhesive backed polyimide tape comes to mind. Polyimide is a high Tg
material, with a very high dielectric breakdown voltage rating. Automating
the application of PI tape might not be so easy, unless some TechNetter has
a particular solution in mind.

Subject: Isolator
Hello everyone,
I was happy that the snow was all gone on the ground until it start =
snowing about an hour ago. It never ends.
Now the serious stuff.
We are assembling a PCB for a client and there are traces running under a =
transformer on the PCB top side. The metal transformer mounting and these =
traces are only isolated by the soldermask. Is there some kind of =
isolator we can insert between the transformer and the PCB? The voltage =
used on this board is 230Vac, 50Hz.
Thanks
