Matthew Lamkin :

Perhaps it would be wise to globally review your PWB storage policies in
general.

With regard to smoking, seek a volunteer who routinely smokes in his (her)
car and apply paper towel and Windex. I believe you will see the effect.

Tobacco smoke is made up of "sidestream smoke" from the burning tip of the
cigarette and "mainstream smoke" from the filter or mouth end. Tobacco
smoke contains thousands of different chemicals which are released into the
air as particles and gases. Many toxins are present in higher
concentrations in sidestream smoke than in mainstream smoke and, typically,
nearly 85% of the smoke in a room results from sidestream smoke [1]. The
particulate phase includes nicotine, "tar" (itself composed of many
chemicals), benzene and benzo(a)pyrene. The gas phase includes carbon
monoxide, ammonia, dimethylnitrosamine, formaldehyde, hydrogen cyanide and
acrolein.

Perhaps, the most generous solution is a separate break room which has been
utilized by schools for years and more recently department stores like
Sears & Roebuck; the most abhored solution, banning; or the middle road
idea in the States is outdoor areas.

Good luck,
Paul

P.S. It would really be interesting if there was effective way to quit.
What's going on over in the UK besides gum and nose sprays?
