Ron,

I used a software package called CAM350 from ACT and a True Type 3 of 9
barcode font I found on the web. By adding text within Cam350 using this
font and an aperture of size 1.0 mil I was able to get a printout that
scans perfectly when printed to an office laser printer.

I don't know how this will transfer to PCB photo plotting, but it might be
a good start.

Regards,

Neil Roche.

Subject: [TN] BAR CODING SOFTWARE

Techno's

Can anyone out there make a software recommendation to generate BARCODE
information to Gerber, 274X, or DXF format for laser photo plotting? Our
company has a customer requirement for us to put BARCODE 39 on their films.
The customer does not want stickers put on the film, but the actual bar
code imaged in the film photo plot.

Thanks,

Ron Videen
