     Yes, I do remember reading a magazine article on exactly this subject
     somewhere around ten years ago when I was working in flex.  I don't
     remember the details, but according to the article, exactly that
     happened.

hi,

i have just been notified that we can not use kapton flex circuits on one of
our programs.  the customer said that they have traced fires on aircraft to
kapton insulated wire bundles.  from that they have prohibited the use of
kapton in flex circuits.

has anyone else come across this?
