Hi Ken,

     I use some shareware called Lavenir Viewmate, and occasionally I'll get a
file that'll do the same thing...sort of. When I load it, a pop-up window
comes up and tells me how many apertures it recognized, and how many it
didn't. You then have to press okay for the program to continue. With the
files I've gotten that would not have 100% recognition ie: 110 recognized, 6
unrecognized, once I've pressed okay, another window will pop-up and tell me;
"Zero-length draws found, map to custom aperture?" and I can press either yes
or no. If I press yes there will be these huge circles (usually) that obscures
almost everything in the rest of the gerber, if I press no everything comes up
fine.

So (I'm kinda guessing here), that yes there may some apertures that aren't
loading, but maybe they're not supposed to...for whatever reason. Why there
would be apertures in a gerber file that's not supposed to be used I have no
clue...but I've had files like that before...
