Dear TechNet members,

I'm interested in a rough estimate of the tooling, and a rough estimate of
how much it would cost to mass produce for the following board (say 20,000
per year).

Here's the information for the board whose cost I'm interested in and it
would have:

1. SMT component:

109 resistors (two leads)
152 small chips and capacitors (two leads)
42 medium size chips (averaging 20 leads)
10 large chips (averaging 80 leads)

2. Through-hole component:

17 through hole components (averaging three leads)
and 1 through hole connector with 10 leads

I know the cost of the components, I'm just interested in how much it would
cost you to actually do the soldering and tooling.

Please advise. Your help is very truly appreciated.

Richard
