   Let me try explain in a simple way what means Cpk value.
   This number is used to see if your data is near or far of the medium
value. 
   If I give the numbers 0,10,1,9 the medium value is 5  ( 0+10+1+9)/4
   If I give the numbers 5,5,4,6 the medium value is also 5 (5+5+4+6)/4
   The Cpk value will tell that the second serie of data is more near
from the medium value, if you are talking about process, it will show if
your process is in control or not. 
   You can consult any statisc book for formulas and deep explanation !
There is more things to learn ( normal curve, 3 sigma process,
predictable rejection rate, SPC , etc... )
