Hello Technetters:

We are testing some process and material combinations using B36 coupons.  What
is the minimum resistance required on the B36 6 mil comb patterns at standard
conditions (50 V bias, -100V test, 85 C, 85% RH)?

IPC TR 467 Numerical Examples for Appendix D seems to refer only to the
interdigitated B36 pattern.  Using the squares equivalence of 3500 for the comb
pattern vs. 192 for the interdigitated pattern, and 1E8 ohms as the minimum for
the interdigitated as per  pg. 13, I calculate a minimum requirement of only
5.5E6 ohms for the 6 mil combs.  This seems rather low.

Should the minimum acceptable resistance for the 6 mil pattern also be 1E8, as
implied in Appendix D?
