Printed Circuit Board Requirements for RF Prototypes

These requirements are intended to yield a quality printed circuit board are
bare minimum cost. Modification of these requirements are encouraged to
minimize cost. We are flexible.

1. Turnaround: 1 THRU 5 days

2. Number of Layers: 2 (ONE CORE W/COPPER CLADDING ON BOTH SIDES)

3. Core Material Types: Arlon GT250 or equivalent, Rodgers 4350 or
equivalent

4. Core Thickness: RANGES FROM 20 TO 31 MILS TYPICALLY

5. Silkscreen: Yes (DESIRED, BUT NOT A REQUIREMENT)

6. Soldermask: No

7. Tin Lead Coating on Copper: PREFERRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED IF IT IS A COST
DRIVER

8. Controlled Impedance: Yes, 50 ohms +/- 10%
Coupons provided but impedance measurement not necessary unless cost
effective.

9. Vias Required: Yes, PLATED THRU HOLES ONLY (12MIL AND 20MIL DRILLS ARE
TYPICAL)

10. PCB Structure:

STARTING PANEL SIZE IS 12"X18" TYPICAL. USEABLE AREA SHOULD BE AT LEAST
10"X16".

The PCB panel should support a 10" x 16" useable area containing multiple
unique designs
(subcircuits) instantiated onto the same panel. The artwork data will
reflect all the unique designs integrated

11. Routing:

Each unique design or subcircuit on a panel may need to be routed in a
particular manner to accommodate special components. Additionally each
subcircuit within the panel will need to be removed from the panel prior to
shipment.

12. Output formats: 274D, 274X, ODB++

13. FTP CAPABILITY FOR FILE TRANSFER

14. EDGE COMPENSATION CAPABILITY - When are data indicates a 7 mil trace we
expect
the final product to have a 7 mil trace +/- process deviation.

15. INCREMENTAL COST FOR ADDITIONAL PANELS

16. WE PREFER THE VENDOR PROCURE THE MATERIAL
