HI there, I do this using "GC-Prevue" to determine the best panel size
for my boards.

As I import my gerber files into GC-Prevue to check them, make any
slight modifications that my CAD
package cant do (like slots in pads) and then save as a GWK file which
is more compatable with
the GC-CAM that the manufacturers use already (Phew! that was a long
"as").

its simply a matter of copying a layer (I.E. a solder resist mask) and
then ofsetting it to be next to the
first layer - and so on until I get the best panel size.

If its all the layers that you want panelizing, then you will have to do
this many times, but it can be quite
simple to do and is far less costly than the likes of GC-CAm or CAM350.

Whats also good about that is its a free program.
