Hello,
Does anyone on this list know if typical screenable soldermasks
(i.e. the likes of PC401 or Hysol SR1020) would comply with the
"Printed Wiring Board Coating Performance Test, Section 12, in UL
840"?
I don't have this standard, but it has something to do with creepage
distances. If one uses such a coating, UL allows you to cut the
normal spacing requirements between high voltage traces by a
factor of 2.5
