Alain,

Check with intermec. They should have all the information including UL and
CSA specifications. I check out all of this information when I choose a
label. Not all labels are UL or CSA approved.

Subject: [TN] Labels on product for outside use

Hi TechNetters!

We are using InterMEc labels on our products. Labels material is
polyester film with acrylic glue. We are using Intermec ribbon too.

Recently one big custommer has asked us to give them a warranty on those
lables.

Here is my questions: Is anybody out there using intermec labels and
ribbons for product that are installed outside and in any region from
south America to up North where it is presently -30oF and to what king
of life expectancy we might figure out.

Lables are glue to epoxy paint over aluminum. product is specified for
-40 to +150oF.

We have started a few months ago only to use those labels.
