Fellow TechNeters:
I inherited a piece of equipment that appears to be a frame that is placed
between the platens of a conventional hydraulic press. In operation, a
vacuum is created inside the frame with an external portable pump, thereby
creating a "vacuum press". It was manufactured by a company in Hampstead,
NH, possibly named the j.j.a. Ultra Frame Co. Can anyone help me with
information about this concept? If it does the work as I have described, I
would want to purchase a smaller one, so current sources would also be
appreciated.
Thanks
