Ruben,
We use large quantities of wavesoldering pallets here.

I hope your pallets are not stainless steel. They are good heat sinks
and take forever to cool.

We have fans over the edge handling conveyors (top and bottom) between
the soldering machine and further processing. With
composite pallets, we have no thermal problems at the next operation..

Even without fans, the composite pallets can be touched within 10
seconds of wave exit, but not for long. Just don't touch any
        metal fixtures that early....ouch

I am currently using wave soldering carriers for some of my modules at wave
solder. We need to use them in order to protect the contact gold fingers.
We are currently using conductive cooling system by submerging them in
water but anyhow at the moment of using them they are still hot and wet. Is
there any possibility of using convective methods and some kind of rolling
conveyors or something?

Please help me out

Ruben
