Dear Technetters,
When processing surface mount boards we sometimes get a few
miss prints and would like to clean the boards. We use a parts tank
filled with mineral spirits to clean our stencils. I would like to clean
our boards in the same tank and I was wondering if the mineral
spirits would be detrimental to the FR-4 and CEM3 circuit boards.
I'm stuck with this chemistry because of the emulsion we use on our
screens. Yes we do still use/clean screens also. Thank you for any
input.
