I suspect Ed's reaction comes from the sheer size of your
ad material; even as a North American resource for many
of the same points I took your message the same way.
In most 'net forums and newsgroups, 4-line "signatures"
are taken as non-offensive. Going beyond that tends to
draw flames or worse, dismissal of content or entry in
filters.
OTOH, if you've accomplished reliable wave soldering of
.8mm gull-wings my hat is off to you, sir.
