We are considering phosphoric acid anodize treatment of a cast aluminum (A356
alloy) for a bonding process (polyimide PWBs to the aluminum core). Would
there be any benefit to having the aluminum primed after anodizing, or would
the "as-anodized" surface be better for bonding? How about shelf life?
Thanks in advance,
Jim Marsico
