     Angie,
I believe what your techs are doing is reteaching parts data. We had
similar issues at a previous employer on our MV-150. If you do not
have a parts data library set-up for each part number, now is the time
to set it up, it will pay you many times over down the road. I would
recommend calling Panasonic, they can help you with those issues.
Since you have other Panasonic machines, it would pay you to look into
the Panapro software product, which can help with the parts data
library set-up, and is an aid for programming, line balancing, etc.
     Good Luck.

Subject: [TN] Panasonic MV100 problems?

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone is familiar with Panasonic MV100 pick and place
machine, and if you have the same problems we have. It seems like we
spend more time teaching the machine than actual time spent running
product. The placement is not the best and techs tell me it the best
they can do. The other issue is not repeatable. What I mean is when we
need to run this product again a few weeks down the road the techs need
to re teach again! Is this normal? Is it the Machine or the Techs? I
don't seem to have this problem with the other machines, MV2 or MPA 80.
This has been a problem since day one! Any suggestions?
