Attention Technet subscribers:

As some of you have figured out, someone sent a message to Technet, received their
confirmation request, and RE-SENT their message to Technet with the confirmation
request on top of it, then CONFIRMED the new message with the old confirmation
request still on it.

SO THE ORIGINAL CONFIRMATION REQUEST GOT POSTED TO THE FORUM. No one is sending
illegal messages using your email account. The reason you got a request to confirm
his email message is because EVERYONE got that message.

Let me re-explain this for the benifit of anyone still unclear:
Step 1> You send your message to [log in to unmask]
Step 2> [log in to unmask] sends you a confirmation request
Step 3> Reply to this message. Do not alter the "Subject:" line of the message, this
contains a code particular to your message, which needs to be there for the server to
confirm you sent it. Do not send the reply to Technet, it should go to listserv. By
Reply, we mean hit your REPLY button (most email softwares have one). The actual
text of the message should only be:

OK

Not the original message, not the confirmation request, just OK.

Sorry for the confusion. I will see what I can do to prevent this from happening
again.
