Enthone CU106A is an organic coating applied after continuity test prior to
visual inspection. The coating thickness ranges from 0.3~0.5 microns so it
can be easily removed by pins during probe testing. Storing the boards with
punctures would create oxidation/discoloration that would take affect
during the assembly process. Scrubbing the surface of the finish with even
a cloth can reduce the thickness but muchsoever avoid contaminating the
board with alcohol because it totally strips the application.
