Hello TechNetters,

there was a book from Philips Components "Guidelines for
Footprint Design - SMD-Technology", from October 1990,
Document Order Number 9398 379 90011, which covers a wide
variety of SMT component footprints, discrete and ICs. It
has for nearly all components recommendations for reflow
and (if appropiate) wave soldering. I'm afraid this book is
not available any mor, but you should ask your Philips
distributors or representatives.

From Philips Semiconductors there is another book which is
currently available: "Integrated Circuit Packages - Data
Handbook IC26" which came out 1998 and which covers ALL IC
Packages from Philips, but no discrete components. The same
as above, recommendations for reflow and wave.

Hope this helps
Regards
Matthias
