I would think that the rigid board specification 6012 would be able to
answer your questions.

Some coupons are used for qualification testing others for quality
conformance tests (group A) and others for monthly testing.  6012
has table that tell you what tests are performed on what coupons.

There are still others that are used for "in process" tests.  This set
of coupons would not be in 6012 and If you have questions about
them we can discuss later.
