metal alloy)? That information is needed to give you more focused
responses.

Dear Technetters,
        I have worked with 3 or 4 different part numbers from 'Little
Fuse' and all of these have had very poor solderability.  My current
employer uses non-clean chemistry and my previous employer used OA
fluxes.  Both types of materials resulted in poor solderability no
matter how much we tweaked the process.  If we took a fiberglass pen and
burnished the ends, they soldered beautifully.  Has anybody else had
similar problems with Little fuse or is this a case of small fry orders
that were filled by distributors that had these components sitting in
stock past their useful life?

Any and all advice is appreciated.
