We use the Siemens BB535 varactor. An alternative we have specified is
the Sony 1T362 and the Rohm 1SV223 (though I think this is now also
obsolete).
I don't have the data book to hand for the Siemens BB535 / BB515 so I
don't know the differences but if not an exact alternative, Sony may
have something to suit. Hope this helps,
