Hi Edward and other Technetters,

my view on these pips, or location pegs is:

- you need them for manual placement
- you need them for automatic placement if the exact location of the part is
a requirement
- you don't need them for automatic placement if the part can shift a little
bit on your pads

In the last case you better leave them off. The cost of the part is usually
a little bit lower and you don't ask for problems with the pegs.
