Pat,

Fraunhofer Institute in Berlin came up with a way to test for a feature called
Equiresistant Temperature at which the mechanical properties of solder changes
from OK to very weak.
I think their number for Sn63 was 148'C.  Do not know what you call 5S solder
so cannot give you a number for that.  Fraunhofer has tested a number of
solders and may have the other one in their data.
