Very well said. I agree with referencing various requirements. I simply want concurrence when
working with various suppliers (from the design level) - some of whom may not be qualified - but
have the opportunity to respond to drawing notes and graphics as constructions, etc.. Those that
are will concur. Those that are not, will not.
I think you will agree that if individual features are effected and verified, impedance and other
electrical performance characterisitcs will also. In any case, the master drawing rules whether in
reference or as a specified requirement.
Also, "tweaking" usually is limited when process capabilities are already proven. At this stage in the
game, most qualified board fabrication capabilities understand little tweaking is necessary and that
which is required is done up front. Others tweak after the fact when it is too late. Again, the master
drawing rules.
