Vishy: We are doing case bonding for electronic instruments. The
joint design uses tongue and groove for the bonding faces. The adhesive is a two
component methacrylate, case material is an ABS/polycarbonate. We dispense a
continous bead that includes some fairly complex radiused corners to the female
side of the case using XYZ control. The groove dimensions are not quite as tight
as yours but close.
The dispensing equipment is made by Liquid Control Corp. North Canton Ohio,
Phn#330-494-1313. I have been very satisfied with it's perfomance. Others make
similar equipment; Camelot, Sealant etc. The real key to the successful
delivery of small precision controlled amounts is the rheology of the material
you are dispensing more than the equipment.
