Techies,
I have a PCB that uses 30-40 T0-92 transistors. My problem is that when I
wave solder these PCB's, the majority of them have solder bridges. I
believe the pad-pad spacing ( 0.5mm) is the problem. Lead protrusion is
1mm, pad size 1.4mm.
Direction thru wave ------------------->
O O
O
Soldering 200-210F until 490F at wave -Tried temp increase
Conveyor speed 4.2ft/min - Tried faster and Slower
Cannot rotate PCB
Have to use NOclean flux - Kester 951
I would like to know what is usually recommended or what some of you use at
your companies. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
