Opinions requested.
I have some PWAs (assembled) that had rails added to the PWB for processing
purposes. These were to be removed but were not. The CM indicates they
will route them off.
I am very concerned about the effect vibration will have on the components
and general ESD/Debris control relative to the PWA.
IPC-D-279 mentions vibration and shock as things to be aware of, and in
Section 7.7 says that either
"snap" tabs or "full board routing" can be done.
Is routing a normal/acceptable method given the vibration of the PWA?
Any info appreciated.
