Hello there,
Were having a problem (misalignment) with the placement of smt comps
(0402) to our board. There is no problem with the placement of
the first comp. But after that, misalignment now occurs on the
second to the whole process. We checked the local fiducial of the
substrate and found out that it was 15 mils. Is this within limits ?
We would like to change its shape from square to cross hair but with
the same measurements, is this correct ? Are there any standards on
fiducial clearance to components (for BGA substrate/board design) ???
Our board uses two types : GETEK and BT.
I would like to know any of your theories regarding this problem.
Any information will be highly appreciated.
Thank you very much and hope to hear from you very soon !!!
