Environmental Best Practices Guide

The printed circuit board industry is aggressively reducing its environmental impacts. From reducing water usage to adopting new technologies that use fewer and less toxic constituents, the printed circuit board industry has dramatically changed the way that it operates in order to protect and conserve environmental resources.

This book, published by the British Printed Circuit Board Association, the PCIF, details the industry's environmental success stories. From general recommendations on minimizing copper wastewater discharges to detailed steps for adopting environmental management systems, this book presents detailed steps that printed circuit board facilities can take to prevent pollution and minimize their generation of waste. Released October 1999.
