HI David,
Thanks for your reply...

The PCB is a 6 layer, 1oz finished copper (outer layers) The package is a
PA module. There will be a heatsink on the opposite side of the board to
where this PA module is attached, so we just need an effective method
of shifting the heat from the bottom of the component through to the other
side of the PCB. We are wanting to shift between 3 - 5watts.

You mention intehgrating copper heat sinks inside or attaching on back
side of PCB, this sounds ideal can you please give me some more info, or
tell me where to find it.
