From my perspective, equipment to varying degrees is application specific - in
its setup, features, and process monitoring.  So, what kind of product do you
plan to pass through?
For example, from my experience, if you plan to solder SMCs, either  by
themselves (you should reflow here) or along with through-hole leads, I would
strongly recommend a dual-wave system with a spray fluxer, at the very least.
