Personally, I prefer the Hakko stations. They are modular
which makes replacing warn out parts easy. The temperatures can be varied
and locked in with a key card. Typically, they are smaller in overall size
as well.

                                Subject: [TN] rework stations

                        Technetters,

                        I'm looking into purchasing a rework/repair station.
During my research, I
have noticed that there are four major competitors:
Pace, Metcal, Weller,
and Hakko. Can anyone tell me the pros/cons about
any of these or any other
                        manufacture of rework stations?

                        Any recommendations?

                        Thanks in advance.
