A good book that covers flex, rigid flex and rigid PCBs is Marty Jawitz's
(editor) "Printed Circuit Board, Materials Handbook" from McGraw Hill.  I
usually procure books such as the from the SMTA Book Store, they have a good
selection of the books in the PCB/SMT available for sale. Their web site is
