The IEC has a document now going through the National Committees as a Final Draft
International Standard.  It is numbered IEC 60194.  When released, in about 3 Months,
it will be an identical copy of the IPC-T-50.  We have tried hard to keep the two
standards coordinated.

The Convener of the Joint Working Group (JWG5) is Lutz Treutler.  He is located in
Berlin and has already established a bilingual version of the two standards.  I know
that the German version is done.  He can be contacted at <[log in to unmask]>.
