Anne,
        Call your customer and get a part number for the mating connector.
Then, look up it's data sheet (many are available on the internet as pdf
files). The
data sheet should have the contact pitch dimensioned, as well as the slot
opening
and keying information. Some go so far as to put in suggested layouts.
        I remember the two basic edge finger patterns as being 0.100"
centers
and 0.156" centers. If it were me, I'd look it up.
