Hello, TechNetters!
I am looking for advice concerning the reliability of press fit
assemblies with OSP coating .
1. What is the preferred pin finish?
2.What is the preferred finish for screws, nuts, bolts which come in
contact with the protected?? copper?
3.When conductive contact is needed, is there a problem with steel or
aluminium with chromatic passivation?
4.What are the pro and con's in comparison with solder finish?
5.What about reliability in warm and humid conditions?
Thanks to all who can help.
Gaby
