Hi Linda,

If you want to be safe then I would recommend the Electroless Nickel
and Immersion Gold finish. It has been around for a long time and is
generally considered to be the best quality finish available.

Specify 3-5 microns El/Nickel and 0.05-0.15 microns immersion gold.
(25 microns = 1 thou")

Ask for a quote as standard HASL as well so you can see the added cost
of this finish. On an expensive board, it should not be too
significant.
