Per-Erik,

Outstanding. We've managed to cover lots of ground concerning such an intersting and vital subject.
I wonder what Afri and others have gotten out of all this.

Most of the "big guys" know it all, but us "smaller fish" keep asking the same questions - not that
there is anything wrong with that. It's just that PCB fab is so complex an issue, it sometimes
boggles the mind PCB's work at all.

Solderability, acceptable quality, and long term reliability should be so much simpler when the
basics are understood, applied, and designed in. And on it goes - with no end in sight - just more
complex and, hopefully, better product needed at an ever increasing speed. It just seems we always
go too fast for quality and reliability to keep pace. No complaints, as the stuff I use in daily
life works pretty well - and it's getting cheaper?
