As far as I know Rogers has stopped actively marketing Bend/flex. There
was a fair amount of processing and reliability data available when we
marketed it out of the Circuit Materials Division in Arizona. I'm not
sure what happened after it went back to Connecticut, but there were
several long term customers for it that were continuing to be supported.

Basically it's a rigid board that can be folded to install. Very limited
unfolding/refolding for rework/repair is also possible. It was a product
that never really found a place in the market. It's not quite as capable
as flex, rigid flex, or rigid boards, so unless you really needed its
special combination of properties the standard interconnect solutions
were usually a better choice.

It's weakest characteristic was the non woven polyester fiber
reinforcement. Some care had to be exercised to prevent completely
destroying the laminate properties by inadvertently melting the fibers.

Ask for Don Greene, and don't mention Bend/flex because the operator
used to filter those inquiries out.
