Ajay,

Sheen is a UK manufacturer of a whole range of test instruments.

In case you dont have access to it, their address is

Sheen Instruments Ltd
Unit 4 St George's Ind Est
Richmond Road
Kingston KT2 5BQ

Tel: +44 181 541 4333
Fax: +44 181 549 3374

In answer to your question, the cup you refer to is Ref 401 Conforming to
BS3900:A6,1971 Number B4.

You should however, be able to use either a Zahn #3 or a Ford #4 cup, which
might be easier for you to obtain.

The cup test involves filling the cup with the coating material, setting
your stopwatch as it is taken out of the coating (the cup that is, not the
stopwatch!) and timing it to drain out. This should take, as you state, 24
seconds +/- 2 seconds. Exciting isn't it? Ah, the miracle of science at
work!

Some other TechNetter may be able to point us all to a web address that
provides a flow cup comparison table?? Anyone care to help?

Regards, Graham Naisbitt
