Cleaning of un-cured surface mount adhesive should not involve the use of
alcohol's, as many of the epoxy chemistries will actually react or cure
prematurely in the presence of IPA, especially in small stencils apertures.

Loctite has a product known as 7360 Surface Mount Adhesive Solvent (Item #
25658), which is an aliphatic ester blend. The "flash off" or evaporation
times are slightly longer and it may require a "dry wipe" prior to the
application of new adhesive. Once the old un-cured adhesive has been
removed, a wipe with IPA will speed up the flash off time of the 7360 as
well.

Hope that helps you out.

Barry
