FMI stands for:  Forgien Machine Interface

Do the UIC conveyors have board position sensors?  If not you will have to
add them to run Smema protocol.

Get a copy of the SMEMA Mechanical Equipment Interface Standard.
Smema  Lafayette Hill  PA  215 825-1008

If the conveyors do not support Smema Dek may be able to supply an interface
board to convert the printer to UIC protocol.

I have a Dek 265GS with SMEMA connectors (labelled FMI-anyone know why?)
and UIC conveyors with 14 pin connectors. Anyone know how to get these two
together. So far no luck here. Any help would be much appreciated.
