Are they willing to use something like an Omrom B3F-6152 type switch? We buy these by the bucket full and
only pay around 4 cents each. If the can use a 6mm square switch like this there are many vendors that can
deliver a switch that will go at least 100,000 at full load of 1/10 amp or up to 1,000,000 cycles. I would
recommend them using something like this if possible.
If there are many switches and space is tight, maybe they can consider using a 3.5mm x 6mm switch like
those found in car radios.
